Blur Aint (Isn’t) Bad

As a photographer you learn to take pictures, yes that’s correct. But you also learn to live with mistakes and that mistakes can be for the better or for the worst. When I started photography I’ve put my self down due to lack of taking a good picture. But that’s nonsense. I wouldn’t take the time to interpret the situation and just bash myself with criticism. Now after some time has past and learning more and more about mistakes it has become a better learning experience that you would have thought. Learning to handle your mistakes prepares you for the following pictures you ought to take.

For example the top left picture is out of focus but to me it shows a little bit more then what you would expect it to be if it was in focus. It takes time to view the composition of a photo and I truly believe the composition gives much more in a picture. The second picture was a little boy fixing his hat but you may have not know that it was a boy, maybe some much older. But what I see in this picture and its referenced in a song that Jay Z has written which says “Aint no love in the heart of the city.” Interpreting the picture in that sense would leave you thinking on what the city is actually like and that not everything is sunshine and rainbows. The city is its own person and that gives me much more reason to keep shooting its everyday life.
